Martin Pickard is a facilities management professional with nearly 40 years experience in all aspects of property and business services provision. His career includes a variety of corporate property, project and facilities roles in the UK including long periods with BT and with Cellnet. He has also held boardroom positions with a number of FM consultancy and contracting organisations working all over the world for major customers from both public and private sectors. Martin is a Past President of the IFMA UK Chapter and a Fellow of the BIFM and twice winner of their International Award for Excellence in FM Journalism. Principal of The FM Guru Consultancy and specialising in FM strategy and communications, Martin is a regular contributor to several business magazines and speaks at conferences and seminars all over the world. He was named by FM World magazine as one of the 20 FM Pioneers who have had the most impact on the development of FM over the last thirty years.
Patrick Jongbloet is an experienced consultant and facilitator with twenty years experience in facilities and general management and in the design and delivery of leadership skills training. A multilingual MBA , his consulting work builds upon a career in a variety of challenging international business environments operating at a senior level in both customer and supplier roles for organisations including Emprise and Eurotunnel and supplying clients such as B-Sky-B, Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Reuters Group, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose. Patrick specialises in procurement of FM services and the development and implementation of outsourcing strategies. His operational experience of “soft services” informs a sound baseline of quality systems, lean management practice and innovative service delivery. With international business experience gained in diverse industries and possessing impressive business, technical and professional qualifications, Patrick’s expertise is wide ranging and adaptable, yet based on solid general management principles and foundations. Fluent in English, French, German and Dutch, Patrick has NEBOSH and IOSH safety qualifications and is a Member of the Institute of Directors and the Chartered Management Institute. He is also a licentiate Member of the CIPD and a Quality Auditor. A former Chair of the BIFM South Region, Patrick was a finalist in the PFM Awards for Expert Services 2005
Sarah Hodge is an FM professional with 20 years operational, project management and consultancy experience. She has worked with a wide variety of prestigious organisations on both client and supplier side, including Lloyds of London, Swiss Reinsurance, Citex, NB Entrust and Land Securities Trillium. With an MSc in ‘The Built environment’ and with her operational and managerial experience, she has extensive knowledge of the skills, competencies and behaviours required to achieve business goals and deliver world-class service in the property and facilities arena. She is an active member of the BIFM having served on Council, London Regional, CPD and Membership committees and is a mentor for young people in FM as part of the WIFM group programme. She is also an Assessor and Judge on the London Excellence awards panel. She has completed a diverse range of high profile consultancy projects developing and mobilising new Facilities strategies as well as organisational change management and the development and implementation of communication strategies.
Anne Simmons is a qualified building surveyor and seasoned facilities management and PFI professional with over ten years’ experience across the sector. She has worked in all four principal business areas; commercial, retail, manufacturing and state, and is well versed in the development of strategic facilities management solutions and their practical implementation. She has experience of both hard and soft facilities management service streams, within PFI, single buildings and national estates; the largest being two million square metres.
Anne Lennox Martin is a Senior FM Consultant with significant experience. She combines knowledge of operational FM with the shaping and delivery of innovative and effective strategies and solutions. Having worked as Client and Supplier in public and private sectors she has a real insight into the FM challenge. In 2007 she was selected as one of the 20 most influential women in FM by FM World magazine, Anne holds a Masters Degree in Facilities and Environmental Management and the BIFM (Qual) accreditation. She is a Fellow of the BIFM and lectures regularly on FM.
Beth Goodyear is an FM Consultant with extensive experience in operational and strategic FM. She has experience of working for FM service providers and private companies in a variety of in-house and outsourced roles. Experienced in setting up systems and procedures to help FM’s manage buildings more effectively she has completed a number of consultancy projects for major clients focusing on service, performance and compliance issues.
